Personal accident insurance for cyclists

Hi all, Just wanted some advice.

I would like to take out some personal accident insurance. Anyone have any tips on cyclist specific deals or any pitfalls I may encounter. Any advice would be gratefully received,

As in like to cover medical costs for yourself?

The CTC may have options, I know they have 3rd party as a matter of course on their normal membership, so have a loot at http://www.ctc.org.uk/

British Cycling might also have some options, though theres tends to be more for racing or 3rd party for commuting etc iirc..

You could also look at private medical cover such as a basic Bupa option, though I'm not the best to advise on that one.
