Hi everybody,
I picked up a second hand Scott Addict Team Edition, which i love as a bike, but really the green 'stickers' on the frame are not my taste at all, and I would love to have it look more like i want .. maybe just black frame and some red handlebar tape. Sorry if this is a bit of a newbie question, but is there anything i can put on the frame to cover it up, or any other standard ways of doing this? Thanks a lot for any help.

Loch side.
Go for a ride and have a beer afterwards. There will be plenty of opportunity later on to change handlebar tape and replaced a scuffed saddle.
Customising a bike is considered naff.

Always liked green, especially the cannondale green liquidgas scheme.
Gets some clipless pedals on it, get out and ride. Autumns here so within a few weeks you won't see the green for all the muck if you dont put mudguards on or clean it. Job done

I personally dislike that green to the point that I would have avoided buying that bike in the first instance. However if I somehow ended up inheriting the bike then I certainty would not consider changing the frame's colour scheme which is part and parcel of the bike's personality and is coordinated with the saddle and bar tape. Instead, as others have indicated I would simply get some decent pedals and ride.

[Edit] Overall I still think the bike looks great [/Edit]

It's your bike, do what you like and love to ride it ... end of. ^_^
Wish I could give more info on changing it's appearance but sorry I can't.

very nice bike .... don't worry about the colour etc ...

if I were to customize, first thing that I would look at is new wheels .... it does not need anything else

add a decent Garmin such as a garmin Edge 1000, ... go on long rides and enjoy the bike. I wanted one of these, and could not afford one
