Petition to ban the sale of fireworks

I spent a New Years eve in Berlin about 30 years ago. Made anything in Britain seem very tame. In the morning there was devastation everywhere. Smashed windows burned out cars looked more like the aftermath of rioting than partying.

Feel free to obey rule 5 while clearing up the hot spray of shoot that just shot two metres from the arse of my 18year old cat after a particularly loud firework went off a few feet from our back door

This type of petition is a symptom of what's wrong in Britain. Instead of dealing with people who misuse fireworks, people advocate taking the lazy option of banning fireworks.

Permission hasn't troubled me in the past, the very distant past.

I don't think you need permission for small hobby activities with pyrotechnics, if you did then surely anyone who bought a family display pack could also get done for 'conspiring to cause an explosion'.

I think these guys probably make their own. And this book would be a great how to manual.
