I had a message last week that a fairly local person was getting rid of a very lightly used bike and was I interested.

Well I managed to find time this morning to go and see it .

My first thought was to use the parts to get another one of my projects completed but this looks to good for that .

I wasn't expecting to see a less than 20 mile old bike . Just a shame it's not a bit bigger than 20"

I wonder why they fell by the wayside? Back in the 1980's Peugeot were pretty well regarded, particularly for their sports bikes and you even used to see the odd rigid MTB made by them as well. I still regularly see old steel drop-bar Peugeots in use, sometimes as commuter machines. Aside from using weird threads (well they are French!) they must have been decent quality, otherwise there wouldn't be so many of them still around today.
