Phone Pictures on TV

WTF I opened up a picture to send on my phone and next thing it's on the telly screen. How can I stop this happening. I did click ok for a shsred folder or something earlier on my laptop with the phone's name on it.

Get your laptop on and (I'm assuming all your devices are Wifi'ed up to each other) - Right click on the folder that you shared earlier, and there should be a fairly self-evident option to unshare it...?

It was more of a message that came up, with options yes or no. Not a folder as such.

If you have a Samsung phone, turn 'Screen Mirror' off..

It is either a shared folder else it is going into your documents folder with media share on.

It seems to have stopped it now but how to I find the shared folder to unshare it. The phone is an S3

Or on your tv find all network shares it has and your phone will probably be listed
