Cheers for the link rh100, I'll definitely save that for future reference. They are a bit pricey, however that phone looks really ideal.

They are a bit pricey - but I suppose it's a sellers market as they are fairly unique. Shop around though, you may get it cheaper.

£100 for a phone that can only call four people!?

Quality not quantity

1: Curry House
2: Taxi
3: Dominoes
4: The Mrs

What more would you need?

I've got a very shiny G1 and a big feature for me is keyboard, never done much texting before 'cos I just found it annoying and slow. I'd want one on a replacement phone. I standing in the centre of Beverley the other day and wondering where the nearest bike shop was. It provided an answer and walking directions to it
Still got a W800i in the drawer though (actually it was a K something-or-other I had the W800i software flashed onto) which I will shall be keeping as it has been an 'old faithful' and always just worked when I've had to go back to it due to either subsequent replacement phones or relatives phones failing.

My iphone is the most fantastic thing in the world. all my calendars are synched. I got lost in a forest and my iphone got me out. I now have a vague idea when my period is due. I can quieten the children in any queue by handing it to them. Find a pub off a motorway. Locate any address + a torch, ocado, radio, ipod, email, cycle computer, Nike+. Just don't know how neanderthals lived without them.

They have an app for that?

It is lovely, rotary dial, proper bell, nice and heavy..... Every time I answer it I feel like saying <1950's posh accent>"Hello, Crosby 4654"</1950's posh accent>

Also anybody else find it really annoying it has taken up until this point to agree on something as sensible as standardisation of chargers (and still a long time till we see it) and standardisation of data connections?
that is annoying. How many redundant chargers must there be in the world?

That looks really nice, I love the bit of paper people used to put their number on (in case they forgot?), posh people used to type it on.

I fancy one of those in the hall - with it's own telephone seat. For some reason we have 3 cordless phones - every time I find one away from its cradle it's bloomin' battery is flat.

shoot! Is that possible now?
Yeah, with mine I can move up to 1.5m from the wall socket it's almost permanently plugged into. Suppose I could get a longer charging cable, though
