The majority of my cycle rides include the pretty village of
Brewood, as it lies on the most picturesque route back to my home from my trips into the Staffordshire and Shropshire countryside. The village sits aside the
Shropshire Union Canal, which is cycling heaven as far North as Norbury, when the towpath deteriorates into a surface akin to riding on a frozen ploughed field

My most recent ride -
Ride Stats - was a gruelling trip out to Market Drayton. It was one of those days when I didn't seem to have the energy to do much more than crawl along lanes, and any incline was torture to my leaden legs . . . . Consequently I didn't take many pictures, as every time I stopped I had a hell of a job motivating myself to carry on
