Pics on Android phone - Help!

My pics seem to be sorted by date, into random folders, it's a right mess. I'd like to know how I can move and arrange pics into named folders like I would do on a PC?

Tell me like I am 7.

Connect it to a PC and do all the file moving around on the PC.

File Commander or ES File Explorer should be able to move stuff around. Or as Spinney says.

Connecting to a PC will end badly, I am sure, also I have no idea what File Commander or ES File Explorer are, or do. There must be an app for simple folk.

Are you sure they're random folders rather than jus the folders where those pictures have been placed? Certainly on my Gallery program, I have folders associated with the Camera, the Downloads and Pictures folder as well as various apps which use their own pictures.

PS You can really check what's happened to the photo's in Windows. I assume you have set to save to the SD card ?

what model phone is it @MarkF ?

ES File Explorer is good but moving lots of files on a small screen isn't easy. It's easy to just plug into a PC, unlike Apple crap.

What phone and Android version ?

Believe it is possible to connect Android phone to a Mac and move files about.
