Apparently Richard Griffiths has died

One of thise actors who wasn't Famous, but a real stalwart of the british drama scenes with TV, stage and film roles.

Shame really, I loved Pie in the Sky

I must have watches Withnail over a hundred times during my formative years and view losing Richard Griffiths as a sad loss.

A couple over the road have a cat called Monty. We take silly delight in exclaiming "Monty, you terrible cat!" at it, to their obvious bemusement. RIP Richard, you'll be remembered fondly for a long time.

I heard the news tonight. My children immediately thought of Harry Potter, whereas for me it was Pie in the Sky!!! RIP

I remember Richard Griffiths from A Private Function. The scene in which he picked out the discarded chocolate from among the toenail clippings is the best!
