Does anyone else drive past Stonehenge on the A303 each day? There is a huge field full of very large pigs in the field just opposite the stones. It is the highlight of my boring drive to work and I often wonder what the pigs will be doing.
They are either in their houses, out in the sun sitting around, feeding, wandering round or all sorts of things. One got out once into the next field and the farmer was trying to push it back home. I give the family a pig update each day.
They stay in groups of about 15 (there are about 200 in the filed) and when the tractor comes along with the food it drops it off a trailer for each group and moves along to the next group- but the ones who have not been fed dont push in and nick the food from the first lot.
They are more civilised than the drivers on the 303.
