Re fully red tyres - definitely the stripe is a more classy look IMO.


My solution to similar dilema was ride on original tyres for a bit to get a feel for the bike, how it rides and how it looks. Then I went for white stripe on tyre (to match white/celeste Bianchi) and also new wheels that I decided to fit. The sum of all the changes has improved looks no end. And it wasn't exactly a dog to begin with.

As a total byproduct my average speed has increased by cca 3mph as well.

Well, I cannot find the 25mm Bontrager anywhere. Think will try the Blizzards from CRC UNLESS anyone can suggest better up to a max of £20 per tyre delivered...you've got until 3pm to make your recommendations

No knowledge of the Michelins and mixed reviews on CRC

On CRC, the Blizzards are £9.99 for wire version and £15 for folders - these will be much easier to manage. Will have a scout around for the best price for the folders
