Before even looking at the pics, I was gonna suggest stay away from the pino, coz cheap italian bikes are... well they just dont seem right to me. But after viewing the pics, that Wiggle bike sure is ugly so I'd go for the pino afterall, but based purely on looks.

But before you take the plunge, check out some bikes the others mentioned, and also take a look at Focus.

I've just had an e-mail telling me that my Ribble Pro Evo has been despatched. Hopefully it will arrive tomorrow!

I wouldn't be able to compare it to the Pinarello but happy to give it a bit of a write up if I get out on it this weekend and you're interested.

Bear in mind this is my first foray into carbon fibre though, so it may just consist of comments like 'Holy sh*t this is the lightest thing I have ever ridden'...

Unfortunately yes, it reminds me of those cut out and fold animals' heads you used to get on cereal packets. But for the money the spec is outstanding.
