It's this kind of attitude that keeps a lot of young people out of cycling clubs, they turn up full of beans ad ready to become the next Mark Cavendish, but get patronized and demoralized by a bunch of old duffers who would rather moan about heating allowances than to see potential talent thrive
I'd rather give up my road bikes for a BMX than start going on CTC rides and wearing tweed
