Got the special all singing Blu-ray box jobby but haven't had much chance to listen to it all yet. Like what I've heard but sad that it's the last from the Floyd boys:sad:.
My faves are:
DSOTM - experience edition live in 1974
Pulse DVD
David Gilmour Live 2002 - the encore is a fabulous version of Comfortably Numb with Bob Geldof as guest. The famous guitar riff is simply gorgeous.....
Wish You Were Here - any version, one of the greatest songs ever written, IMHO

Go and see Aussie Floyd if you can. They're fab^_^

Floyd are one of those bands I've never investigated, and never will
Just not my cup of tea at all, I'm afraid.
Just thought I'd add that thought

Not heard the latest one yet but you inspired me to listen to The Final Cut again. Just reminds me of the whole political scene from the mid 80s and how life has turned full cycle with the politicians protecting their own behinds whilst imposing misery on the masses yet again.

Saw Floyd in 89 at the Isle of Dogs in London and has to rank as one of the best performances ever (just behind the 3 Rush concerts and maybe Joe Satriani that I've seen)

And my favourite all time song has to be Wish you were here.

If you can afford it, maybe an idea to go to the Cardiff gig. It's a bigger venue and they can get out their inflatable pink kangaroo .

Angry youth flash in the pan. All over by '79 which is when Floyd had their biggest hit. Dark Side of the Moon alone exceeds by light years whatever the Pistols did.

It's sold a lot more copies, which isn't quite the same thing.

Best Floyd song is the Scissor Sisters' cover of Comfortably Numb.

We have one of the biggest Floyd nuts ever to have graced this earth in our office.
Oh such fun to be had by playing that version when he's about.

One thing I've learnt about Floyd fans is that they're exceptionally easy to wind up.
