pins and needles when using hybrid

Does anyone know why i get pins and needles in my left hand when i use the hybrid but don't get it when i use the road bike.
i wear gloves when I'm cycling and it only happens when i cycle more than about 12 miles.
is it that the road bike has more hand positions?

I have this problem , but was the same on my road bike, very strange, could never fathom out what it is, it is as if my left arm is longer than the right , so takes all the road bumps / vibration first. ...............?

Shape of the grips? Get ergo ones? Different riding position. I can't see less hand positions having much impact as quickly as 12 miles in

I had it in less than that, but I put it down to my crap cheap bike.

Weird I had it on my left hand too I've changed the grips to ergo ones and seems to have stopped.
