I will just start with, what a revelation carbon frames are!!!

Anyway, just to be sure, should there be a ridge down the chain stays, and the seat stays? Or should these be perfectly round?

Pro Carbon, they do look very intentional.

Both symmetrical on left and right chain stays, and symmetrical on left and right seat stays. So I think it's design.

But, you know how it is when you have a new frame, and notice different things about it.

Yes, mine has the channel in the seat/chainstays. It is normal!
Hope you enjoy the bike mate.

Oh I love it.

The difference in how smooth they ride on rougher roads, is night and day with aluminium frames. I never believed it, but carbon is pretty awesome!

I've got them too. Can't say I've ever noticed them before, but then I don't go about fondling my chain stays (not that I'm suggesting that the OP did of course ).

In my experience, I think my cannondale supersix carbon frame dampens vibrations better than my px road pro ti. Not much in it mind, but even in spite of the 40mm deep rims, I think the cannondale in slightly better.
