Picked it up Wednesday, Pearl White, so pleased I did not dither on colour any longeras it went up £200 on Friday.
Spent a bit of time with Paul Curran doing a bike fit with him.
Rode it yesterday in the sun for about 15 miles.
Quick steering, gear changing on the brakes, braking and drop bars are taking some getting used to after my Boardman hybrid.
Seems faster with less effort.
Got worried as I neared home by a metal tinkle/rattle at the rear, relieved to find it was a loose valve locknut.
Only had to carry it over one muddy puddle!
I think I will be spending some time on that little front ring though ;-)

Glad you love it. I love mine. No dithering over colours when I chose though, it was blue all the way.

Interestingly the SRAM Rival version hasn't moved in price.

Here's my self build PX Pro Carbon SL, mostly 105 with the non-series chainset and R501 C30 clinchers

May swap the wheels for their AL30 set when they drop the price a bit

Gorgeous. I had my doubts until I saw the one @deptfordmarmoset was riding when I met up with him in London. He also cemented my opinion of him as a +aaa dude when I saw the way he dealt with a toothless fellow who was trying to talk us into buying street food from a local vendor. But that's another story...
Which I look forward to reading. He was a bit ''in your face'' as I remember and I ''engaged playfully.'' It's a nice bike, very lively, and needs a fitter, stronger rider than me, but it's also a very direct, light bike for someone less fit and weak. (SRAM Rival variation with a 32t ring at the back which has never forced a dismount.)

After seeing the black version (and it looks kick-ass btw!), I never thought I'd like the white...but it looks great!

It's a pearl finish too - wanted the gloss black but the small was sold out and no longer done - you could see the carbon weave under the lacquer - so this was my 2nd choice (after the pale blue)

"Carry it over a muddy puddle" made me laugh but it is a lovely bike and I can quite see why you'd want to do that on your first few rides !

Wishing you many happy miles together.

Anyone got any bad reviews for the Planet X carbon bikes? Can't seem to find anything bad about them, but they seem by far the best value.
@Saluki have you any pics of your blue one? I could be tempted for blue if it looks good
