Yeh, you know, i think that with some TT bars(made in plastic) and a plastic rear disc wheel, i could have my paper round done in a few mins, maybe even seconds.
Or, wang on some huge lights on a light bar, drop bars, flame stickers, clipless pedals, it would be fast.

It's a Swedish design classic, is that. Bloody Volvo - Epic Fail! Here're a couple in a bike shop in Uppsala. Ignore the fine Crescent sitting next to them.

I thought about buying one in the early Eighties. Then I tried riding it....
I got a Raleigh instead.
I'd still like a Kirk though.
