99% of my web browsing does not require sound. On my previous Android phone )cheap Motorola) I could reliably play Sounds (and Pocket Cast), then switch to reading some pages in Chrome WITHOUT THE SOUND STOPPING.
There is even a Chrome setting to Mute Sound (I've set this - I know it works cos I couldn't hear anyone on a subsequent Zoom call
