Don't know about the narrower Bonti's, but the 32c ones on my hybrid are fine in the wet. I had them slip a little on a left turn as I crossed a manhole cover once, and the bike stepped out a bit, but as soon as they returned to tarmac normal service was restored.
They also seem to be hardwearing and resilient.

I run Michelin Krylion Carbons both summer and winter. Reasonably faerie resistant, durable, fast and grippy. My old ones lasted over 3000 miles before I changed them - and I think there's still some life left in them. The biggest downside is that they've got little grip on wet metalwork such as manhole covers - cornering at 25 mph over one is definitely something to be avoided. Don't ask me how I know this...
