I use a pair of Cateye LD150's, but they seem to be discontinued now with this in it's place:

Very good brightness, I'm well pleased with them.

cateye volt 50. Rail mounted and one of the settings is steady on with brighter pulse so you get the best of both worlds. Sturdy unit & long battery life rechargeable via USB.

As long as I breathe, I attack.
I run a pair of Smart Lunar R2 rear Light 2x 1/2 Watt which one moton described as 'obnoxious.' I have a 12 mile commute along some very rural country lanes and a short section of unlit 'B" roads.

I have used the Smart Lunar R1 in the past but have found out to my cost that they are not very weather proof.
Me too , along with a smart r1 on each pannier bag although i found the lights to be but i do use full mudgaurds , my commute is on unlit country lanes and at one lit roundabout a driver actually pulled alongside and commented on how good my lights were.
