Please STOP raining!

I was quite pleased yesterday as I finally got to try out my Castelli Pocket Liner rain jacket in the conditions it was intended for. It passed with flying colours and my top half was dry despite some pretty heavy rain in Suffolk.

Still managed to get quite wet feet despite having neoprene overshoes. I think it must have been running down my legs. Should have put on waterproof sock and possibly added a little gaffer tape around the top of them.

It wasn't the fastest of rides but the first in a little while due to a poorly daughter resulting in extreme sleep deprivation. Up until yester it would have been likely that I would have been found asleep in a ditch, still clipped in.

Hoping, wife and work permitting, to get out again today, although not sure if it will be another wet one yet as it is still dark and I haven't ventured out of bed to look out of the curtains yet.

It's absolutely heaving down here in SE London too... was going to go out for a 100 miler..... but perhaps tomorrow instead.

my OH has his 1st day off since 7th July when he re-started work and there really is a limit to how wet you can actually get! (honest!)

I'm not there, I'm in Manchester, and if the raining we're having at the moment is also falling in the west, I suspect that No Entry sign will be going under again.

Totally had enough of it ! It's not too bad when it's warm rain, but the winter rain with added chill is not fun and totally grim.Done enough mileage this past few weeks whilst working with the countryside rangers including full days of working in the damn stuff...rest time and clean poor bikes up

Rain and rain and rain and rain and rain here in Ipswich, it's so wet the cats are staying in and tolerating the toddler's investigations.
