yes, you do sound nervous but don't worry all shall be good and you will do it!
i always simply have to have my phone with me, if i had to put my life in the hands of any phone right now it would be my nokia brick in a waterproof electronics otter box thingy! i will never trust the battery, signal or general reliability of a modern fandangled smart phone  but thats just me!

apart from that make sure you have lots of coffee stops and just enjoy it.
oh and i was on the bike at 5 or 6 odd in the morning once and it was wonderful, i felt so awake and free and the roads were empty and i WILL do it again some time! so just think of it as a bonus

Good luck... actually, you won't need luck, if you've managed 82 miles already this year the extra 18 miles will not be a problem. Just go out, enjoy yourself and don't forget to fuel up, even if you can't eat cake!

tomorrow I attempt my longest ever ride and am going to need all the luck I can get.

I have never, ever ridden over 89 miles. Have only managed 82 miles so far this year, however a cycling buddy of mine (former cc'er) has convinced me I am capable of managing that magic mark... an imperial century. I did an metric one earlier this week in record time (as part of a commute) but I think this one is leaving me a touch worried.

We meet up an hour away from home at 7am... so I have to be on my bike by 6am (gulp)....
Good Luck! I am sure you'll manage it!!

I now have a Fuji finest 1.1 (yeh - I know it sounds like a digital camera but she and I are getting on much better than I ever did with the Triban 3, so much so that my OH now wants to replace his T3!)

Right, that's my neighbour's dog walked (without her knowledge, hard to stop an Irish Wolf Hound coming for a walk with you ) and I think I shall call it a day. Up early tomorrow, if I haven't already mentioned it  ... thanks everyone.

tyre pressures are done and can't think of anything else... other than to turn off the auto-pause on my Garmin because it looses around 2% of the distance I cycle and I absolutely refuse to miss this target by 2 miles! No aims on being fast. We have set aside 11 hours for this. If my actual ride time comes in at 8 hours I will be over the moon, mind you I will be happy with any average if I have completed it!
