Not the same, but I do also get foreign coins every so often, and I even found an Irish 10 Punt note blowing down the street one day.

I keep them all (and if its Euros, I sometimes take it on holiday with me to spend. If I remember that is, although its usually only 1 and 2 cent pieces anyway, so hardly worth it).
Irish £10(Punt) note are, for some reason being forged, over here. So what you have may just be a fake of a note that is no longer in circulation. Only other questions are what colour is it & who's on the note. Swift or Joyce?

This was just when they changed to the Euro, so most certainly not recent. At least I think its a tenner, it might be 5, but its brown and had a picture of some educator on it, a woman I think. I'll need to dig it out
