Poetic justice or am I just evil?

My commute home is on a disused rail line now part of the cycle network. I was coming up behind a slow cyclist with a large group of kids with a few adults, obviously some sort of group walk activity. I decided to slow and follow the other cyclist, we had gone past most of them and came up behind 3 girls who had forged ahead of the group. As the cyclist passed them one jumped forward, shouted boo and waved her arms, I don't think he noticed as he had head phones on and was just past them. I don’t use my airzound on pedestrians, I either use my bell or voice, but it was just too tempting and I gave them a short blast on the airzound . I got the impression her friends thought it was hilarious.

Poetic justice for sure. Quite dangerous if the cyclist "jumped" or swerved as a result of getting a fright. Might also be quite intimidating to have a group of teenagers do that to you whether they were just larking about and meant no harm or not. Serves them right!

I have no compunctions at all.....

A couple of kids jumping out in front of the bicycles on the cycle path.

When they tried it with me a straight forward banshee scream and charg straight at them seems to solve the problem!

that's why i don't have an airzound - it would be just too tempting to use it. Although that sounds like a class use of it.
