It's fine here at home using Google Chrome, but the layout keeps screwing up on the windows web browser I have to use at work.

I still use site just as much. Don't use "Chat" or "Blogs" but that's just me. I've not noticed any change in speed but there again we live out in the sticks and speed aint up to much here anyway  .

I still get the problem that if I open up a thread in a new tab I have to refresh it when it opens to see who posted what and see their avatar etc. I even clicked the "Compatability view" key but ir made no difference. I think we are running IE8 but not sure. How do I check?

I'm still here most weekdays, being a work-shy slacker 'n' all. P&L seems a lot slower lately - maybe P&Lers are particularly crap at getting to grips with new technology. I like the new look of it, as long as I'm using one of the less gaudy skins.

Certain things are a bit annoying - the "new content" button isn't as good as the old "new posts" one, because if you're in any tab other than "forums" it brings up a load of tosh - someone you've never heard of has changed their profile picture... whoopee! And I don't like not having the edit window. I used to occasionally check things on my mobile - I don't any more, because it's too slow and there's too much scrolling. But then perhaps I just need a more sophisticated phone. I'm not sure the everyone-having-a-blog thing is a great idea - blogging's a bit of a skill and I've spotted only one good blogger so far - it just seems to encourage a proliferation of mediocre content. Perhaps the slowdown in the forums is because people are busy writing blogs about fettling their bottom brackets, instead of talking to each other...

I haven't made my mind up about whether I like the PMs becoming thread-like conversations. The potential for accidentally copying someone in on a private conversation seems quite high, and if you're trying to include a lot of people it quickly turns into a spam fest as every bit of light banter triggers notifications to about a hundred people. Doesn't it, Rich?

;)

Using it a lot less for the irrational subjective reason i simply do not like the colour scheme or the new layout...and its not nostalgia. posting links is alkward, I cant cut or copy my own posts ( i can understand others but...) plus in P & L there are too many people posting and i cant keep up with threads or it all turns into a trivia fest with decent posts swamped in a floodtide of clique drivel.

I'm using it just as much but not posting much at the moment and I have noticed it's been quieter but it was just summer (allegedly). I like the chat function, at first I thought it might be responsible for the slow down in threads but I think it's use is entirely different and doesn't detract from threads. I like the blogs but there's not many up that interest me, I'd like to see more touring and ride reports than what I had for breakfast stuff but I'm following a couple. I also like the status updates, some people have clearly got the hang of what to post in them and it's quite interesting reading them.

Don't like the view new content functionality, it irritates me and it's quirky and I miss stuff and have to go into individual fora to find the thread I was following. Search functionality is not a patch on the old forum and requires a lot more effort to find old threads. Small thing but the smilies i commonly use are no longer on the first section and you have to view all and scroll up and down to find them. Look and feel is a bit more corporate and less cosy than the old forum, which I miss but overall, I'm happy here and grateful that it exists and have largely gotten used to things.

Edit: Oh yeah. Can we have 101 back for the helmet threads

Barnet,
I'm here a little less than usual, but that is because other things stop me. I have noticed that sometimes it is a little slower to load, and a few times I have posted a reply, only to lose the connection after hitting the post button. If I refresh the page it comes back minus the post?

I'm here just as much, if not more as the site works really well on my iPhone. Sorry I can't be more help.

I'm here just as much.

I'm still having some problems with TapaTalk and when I do get it to allow me to read posts, if I post it puts a lot of HTML editing commands into the text rather than executing them.

I like the mobile skin though so tend to use that on my Android phone rather than tapatalk. (would still be nice of Tapatalk to work properly though!!)

Overall I like the new set up and congratulations on migrating it as smoothly as you did.

I lied when voting - still here as much but found the simple old skin far better.

It's a bit more complicated than that...
Cyclechat skin for me - I like it. But the editors don't work for me in the office (IE8), so I'm posting less (perhaps no bad thing....). They give me
and other tags, and although IE recognises the buttons as buttons (hand icon) they don't do anything on a click. They also don't recognise [return] as a line break so I can only post single paragraphs. When I navigate away, the text disappears and I have to ctrl-Z to get it back. Also, one oddity - at home I have a link to "view this post only" from an ignored user; it's not there in the office.

OMG Shaun - that blue! It's like something your Gran would make in to a cushion cover! And orange. Think Maccy D's, Shaun!

How about a nice black and white version with Raphatastic pictures of cyclists forming the background?

Otherwise fine - I've managed to get rid of the new posts panel, and I now understand the new PM service - it took a while, but we're talking internetoramus here. My ignore list is bulging at the seams. What more could a chap want? And, look at it this way - if I can use it then just about anybody can use it.

I have overcome my initial dislike by using Cyclechat Lite but then that sums me up anyway. Lacking depth but nice on the eye! Bollix!
I know what theclaud means about the PM thingy after inadvertently subjecting too many people to my humerous asides drivel, and a high risk strategy if you're slagging someone off!

Me and my new mates (you know who you are!) love the Chat feature - whiling away many an hour putting the world to rights, discussing gearratios, wine, balh blah blah.....

Yes - using it more and posting less (I use the chat function a lot) - perhaps being injured and not being employed this summer has something to do with it!

I wasn't keen on the change but figured I'd soon get used to it and I have. I use the cleancut skin and only access via desktop so all seems fine to me. Only bit that miffed me was losing my albums but that's hardly the end of the world. I struggle to remember previous version now.

Same here lost my albums which took time to build up...Should have backed it up...

Another thing is I have two blog names of "hackbike 6" and haven't found how to delete one.
