Polygamy?

Crikey, didn't mean to cause offense about the non concrete sexuality bit. It's just that my best mate is a lesbian, bit wasn't 20 years ago. I've also met others who's sexual prefeences have changed over time.
That is whatr happened to the soon-to-be-former Mme HF, over a lot less than 20 years though, we are still good friends. She's met Moon Bunny and the pair of them get on well.

I never log out! (Actually, I cleared my cookies a while back and spotted those ads before I logged back in.)

I have no idea what percentage of the women in Hebden Bridge are straight or not. Many are not, but most of my straight male friends still managed to find partners.

I calculated once that there are only about 250 women in this town within +/- 5 years of my age. Let's say that 90% of them are heterosexual - that equates to about 225 women. At our age, I would guess that at least 2/3 are in relationships at any one time, so that leaves 75 straight, single women of about my age.

Ah - smoking ... must be a non-smoker. Roughly 25% of women smoke, so that's another 20 crossed off the list, leaving about 55.

So, without going outside the town I would have about 55 women to choose from.

I wouldn't want to be with a Hebden Bridge hippy chick, and I also wouldn't want to be with a stressed out middle class commuter, so that's probably another 25 women crossed off the list.

That leaves a pool of about 30.

Oh, and must be sporty. Preferably vegetarian. Preferably non-Conservative ...

So, I am probably down to a shortlist of 15-20 women.

Then we have to raise the questions of compatibility, mutual attraction, and actually meeting in the first place ...

I GIVE UP!

I met Moon Bunny when she had (feigned?) trouble with her Sturmey-Archer, said "I've never been with a red-haired bird, fancy a drink?" and haven't looked back since.

Puzzle game procrastinator!
I'm a bit confused! Are you, HF, and you, soon-to-be-former Mme HF both round at Moon Bunny's and sharing a login?

PS I'll rephrase that in case Fnaar is reading! Were the last two posts by one of you or two of you?

I am also confused. I feel pictures, or possibly a short video, will clarify matters.

Here for rides.
Are they mutually exclusive then?
Not exclusive no. But in combination the two have, in close proximity, often proved combustible in the past.

Feminists from the North seem to get quite "enthusiastic" about male polygamist followers of Islam from the South.

OK, I'm almost certainly (and not for the first time) taking this thread too seriously. But a week or two ago, I got in a mild argument on a different hread about whether casual sexism/borderline misogyny was more tolerated on these forums than racism. By my reckoning, humerous posts whose humour depends on denigrating women are outnumbering those whose humour depends on denigrating men by four to one so far on this thread.

Casual sexism is, imo, far more tolerated in society at large than racism. Perhaps this forum reflects the society that gave birth to it?
