What it doesn't show in the artists impression is that there is a physical kerb between the road and the cycle lane. There's another new one going in at the moment and one just completed. There are no kerbs where a side road crosses the cycle path but the transition is clearly marked. I'll cycle up and take some photo's tomorrow if the storm has passed. Is that a two directional cycle lane?
So a cyclist riding towards us, on the side next to the road, with a white headlight on at night, against an on-coming stream of cars?
What will the drivers do? Assume cyclist is on the right and steer to the left? And the cyclist will be blinded by the cars headlights.
