Poor brake performance ?

Can we start a new thread in the photo gallery, "your bike in front of a rag with all the sh!t you cleaned off your rims on"...

This has got to be down to poor brake set-up or dirty pads/rims. Hve you got any photos of how they are set up

i have tried the same rims on another bike no issue and the pads have been replaced with new ones just in case

You’re almost certainly putting too much chain lube on which is polluting your brake track, the squeal is a telltale sign as is the crud you’re wiping off and the bad braking performance

fraid not no squeal and in fact new chain so i hadnt added any lube

Bike brakes finally sorted , it was the ruddy cable outers i know they were new but had sat in the shed for a number of years so i guess they must have got moisture in and rusted

Nearly went over the bars !
