What <= £1000 roadbike / crossbike options are there with SRAM brifters fitted as standard? Needs to be able to take a fixed rack, some sort of mudguard, 25mm tyres.

Must have a carbon fork. Around 10kg or less

Oh and absolutely must NOT be black or grey, nor have Specialized written on the frame

Unisex or WSD in an approx 54cm frame

Something like this?

No carbon fork though but the frame is triple butted...

Would prefer to buy in a shop to make sure the sizing is right. I will have to make changes to the bike like narrower bars

Also it is rather black

I have Tiagra at the moment on my commuter but find it almost impossible to brake effectively and have had a couple of near misses lately when I haven't had tome to get to the crosslevers. I have SRAM Apex on my 'best' bike and the hoods being smaller and better designed (for my hands) I don't have the same issue

I just think it'll actually cost me less to buy a new bike than swap the Giant to SRAM brifters

I simply don't do black or grey bikes. Even more so after a harrowing experience with a black car recently!!
Well, it is grey in a certain light I give you that but still...otherwise fits za brief.

Now I know how Kirstie & Phil feel like on "Location Location" ;)
