I read a very interesting fact today and I've just looked on Google and can't see it referred to so I'm going to run it past you good people.

To date, only one act has had the number one single AND album in both the USA and the UK SIMULTANEOUSLY. And the act held this unique position in both charts and both formats (single and album) for three consecutive weeks!
