We took friend's kids to a farm..... and they had an Aberdeen Angus Calf - it was very cute

I referred to it as "Cutlet", and so did the kids

When we got back and they told their parents. Their Father asked why it was called "Cutlet", and I replied that it was because it wasn't big enough for a decent steak, but could probably provide a decent cutlet.

The kids did not see the funny side.

When snoosbury's do an offer on big pork loin joints, I quite often cut a third off and use it for stir-fry. Works well. If it works for that, I'm sure it'll work for chops.

Pork loin in cider with canelloni beans and stuff. If it's turned into beef, do what you like but could I send you some water for turning into wine please?
