Without a shadow of a doubt my all time favorite snak/food if you will. Being a blackcountry lad there aren't many ive not tried. Simmons have to be the best I've ever had, they are my regular friday night treat, a few beers and mrs pplpilot and I share a pack. Fabulous.

We had a pork roast on a Sunday occasionally when I was a kid and mum would get the butcher to score the skin and then she would sprinkle salt on before putting it in the oven. If you like pork scratchings in a bag you would think you had died and gone to heaven if you tasted this. Apparently the secret is in the salt.

Mmmm, crackling.

Absolute heart attack country. Scar the skin, rub salt in and blast at top heat for half an hour before settling back to normal cooking temperature. yum!

I find the so-called crackling joints don't work.
