I Fancy a trip to Spain in the next month.
With a bike £334 return
On foot £64 return.
Wondering if I could take a 20 inch wheel folder as luggage. I've got a bag.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Pretty sure you can on Stena. Never tried on the Santander route but I don't see why not. It depends if you're happy small-wheel touring.

Obscene rip off really, it can't possibly be that labour intensive to warrant that cost and us purely down to captive audience I suppose.

Quite probably. Check the luggage dimensions you carrier permits, indeed there are any restrictions on hand luggage on the boat. QR pedals may make life a few cm easier.

Contrary to what some will tell you a 20" folders is capable of going pretty much anywhere a Brompton can, and then rides so much better when you unfold it and cock a leg over.

Is that really the price? Didn’t accidentally tick motorbike?
AI suggests the bike option adds about £75….but AI can be wrong 🤷‍♂️

Just checked again and it's true. Now wondering about buying a cheap used bike over there. But they lookpricey on Ebay Espagne

I would ring them up and check. They're very helpful on the phone IME.

Also, could just turn up as a foot passenger and ask for the bike to be added. I've done that before (by accident, having missed the tick box for bike somehow)
