Cheers. But to be honest it's all the advice and resource on here that is useful.

That's very true. Thanks to this forum, the whole is greater than the sum of the parts!;)

Excellent work, Crockers! And this sort of thing is *exactly* why we should report stuff, best of all with a helmet camera. I'll bet that as many as 10 people would have known about and dealt with this complaint, and taken their own lesson from it, not just the driver.

I was just about to post and ask what people thought it meant to say..

For added humilitation, Crock could perhaps have replied saying "I assume you mean unreservedly, not inadvertently", and gone on to give a short lecture on the value of correct English usage in a modern business environment...;)

I particularly liked the fact that the main thing he was concerned about was your view of the company not being adversely affected!! ;)

Well done for getting a response.

Great complaint.

I'm always stunned to see so many people driving on their mobiles or just driving like maniacs in fully-liveried vehicles, and have been tempted on a number of occasions to fire off an angry missive to the company involved.

Maybe one day I will - can I cut'n'paste bits of that letter if I ever d, CoG ? I don;t think I could put it any better than you have re the mobile / horn bits.

Top Tip. If you see any lorry drivers on their mobiles, complain to the police and the haulage companies, cos along with fine and points, lorry drivers get driving bans for mobile phone offences.
