possible stolen giant defy 1 in york

hi guys , just wanted to post this

i work in the walmgate are of york, and have just seen one of the local scrotes pushing round a giant defy 1 in red colour.

now to see one of these pushing around an 8-£900 bike its got to be nicked, so if anyone has had one stolen, you know where to start looking

I am covered in tattoos and some would say look menacing.
But I own and ride regularly a £4000 TT bike.

I suppose the key difference is you ride yours as apposed to push it...

Presumably the local scrote is known to be a local scrote rather than a tattoo'ed cyclist!

When I picked up my new bike, I forgot my helmet, was wearing boot cut jeans and it was rush hour and I had never ridden a road bike before, so I pushed it 4 miles home instead of riding it. I also clearly don't look like a road bike cyclist! However I am not known, hopefully, as a local scrote!

I have to admit I couldn't walk the bike the whole 4 miles without at least giving it a go on a quiet street; not thinking about my jeans as the hybrid had a chain guard, it immediately got caught

My 2014 Giant Defy 1 was stolen from London on September 12 2014 - it was the black and red color combination. It's probably a long shot given the distance between York and London - but I am still hoping to recover it someday, I only had the bike for six weeks before it was stolen. I still have all my receipts etc., in case it turns up!
