After 'the accident' down the Nuclear Power Station, Paul's eyes glow in the dark, so much so in fact that he never has to use lights on his bike at night, even in the pitch black.

That said, he has been banned from going anywhere near the coast unless it is at a light house or under the flightpath into an airport over fears he will cause an accident.
