Tosh is preparing for his New Year's Eve party. He is currently putting 400 cheese and pineapple cubes on cocktail sticks.

..that's really funny. My wife is a chef, and is preparing (as normal) a fantastic meal of many courses with appropriate wine pairing, whilst if it was left to me it would probably be the cheese and pineapple on sticks with some sausage rolls!

Speicher, not one for change, still uses the Julian calendar, and as such, is looking forward to breaking up for Christmas and New Years holiday in a few days time.

Given a choice of party food, I think I would prefer your "nibbles", a buffet, with a few dainty sandwiches, sausage rolls, crisps and similar things. That could be followed by a dessert (or three). I am capable of multi-tasking except when trying to eat and talk and drink.
