Yes, it was AU who posted it, back in the days when you actually had to post your messages to Shaun, who'd publish them in Velocepede Weekly magazine.
It was between a thread about who had upgraded from a Penny Farthing to a Safety Bike and one about safe headwear (a very early helmet thread) and why a Top Hat really didn't cut it any more.
