Archie is almost always 'wired to the moon' but there were a few occasions when he was politely asked to leave by Nasa for 'Security Reasons' in the late '60s and early '70s, particularly when he was mincing wandering through the Mare Tranquilis* one July day in 1969, and taking a Mountaineering holiday in the Fra Mauro Highlands in 1971.
He never found out what they were doing there in the first place, but he did find that they had made a bit of a mess, leaving machinery, flags, golfballs and about a gizillion footprints behind once they had left.
He still can't believe that they actually sent someone called Alan Bean though.
* - It sounds grander, and 'The Ocean Of Storms' (Oceanus Procellarum. Apollo 12) doesn't sound too bad either!.
