Oscar enjoyed his afternoon sunbathing with Dad (while Mum was working).
Evening walk on the Moss, (wildlife area accessible from our street, home to deer, foxes, ground nesting birds, etc).
Saw some of the devastation caused by 6 children on Saturday afternoon, (all aged 13-14)
with their fire starting antics. All have been charged. Hats off to the fire brigade for their hard work to extinguish this fire in such a difficult area to reach.

a little more tree work this morning. finally got a cpl pics of her peeking
rosie peek 1 final.jpg

rosie peek 2 final.jpg

she was climbing higher past this branch, so I stopped her & put her on it
rosie branch 1 cropped.jpg

went pretty far out. didn't want her to jump or fall off & get strangled so I tapped the tree to encourage her to turn around which she did very well on her own
rosie branch 2 cropped.jpg

getting down off a tree by herself. important life skill. needs more practice
rosie branch 3.jpg

good outing. now she's preoccupied w/ cleaning, w/ minimal howling to go back out

Happy 14th birthday to Thomas 🥰
Such a lovely and gentle boy who brought wee Ollie cat here for his new home.
Thomas came from SSPCA and he was so stressed he had to be the only pet in the home.
He’s come such a long way 😀
Loves his brothers and such a wee character ♥️

Happy Purrday, gorgeous boy xxx :birthday:

Auntie Reynard sends lots of hugs and chin tickles xxx

Thomas is having some turkey breast, not sharing with Oscar 😬

Aww they are so cute!

He is scruffy! Trouble is he will NOT be brushed. The amount of blood I've shed trying means I've given up. His stomach fur especially gets matted so when he's sleeping I sneak up and cut out the mats. A few years ago it got so bad I had to take him to vets to get him sorted.

been there done that. we used to have 3 like that. he's beautiful, I wasn't describing his grooming, just his long hair ;-)
