Ref. my earlier post, we had to take our cat with the tumour to the vet today as she had gone downhill very rapidly, in a matter of days. The tumour had spread to her brain and she was effectively blind and wracked with pain so we had to make the decision and now she's pain free and at peace.
Particularily upsetting for me as she'd always been a 'daddy's girl' and since we adopted her over 17 years ago, she'd always been my feline best friend.
I'll eventually get used to her no longer being about, but I'm really going to miss her .
