It's not pathetic at all, reminds me of my Scottish trip last year. To my mind this thread is about celebrating the joy and experience of touring by bike and inspiring others to do the same. Whether that's overnighters in our neighbourhood or grand tours over the Alps, this thread has it all and your photo fits in perfectly.

You need to post up some more of your trip.

What @chriswoody said. I post my day trips on here because that's what my touring looks like, and because I know that "normal" to me is not normal to other people. In the same way, pictures of tours are unusual to those of us not in the UK, regardless of length.

So, yes, you need to post more pictures.

Upper Neckar Valley, near Glatt.

I'm always fascinated how the Neckar seems to change dramatically after each town. Where I live near Rottenburg, it's narrow and winding, with arable land and small villages. Upstream of Horb, it's still narrow, but it becomes more alpine, the deciduous woodland gives way to pine, and there are cows.
