When I moved to Manchester in 1995 I was 5' 8" tall. I am now 5' 10" tall. The doctors are stumped as to why.

The only thing I thought of was that my spine extended after being compressed carrying tools around all day every day working in London, however, the 2" extension was first noticed in my trouser leg length rather then my shirt length. I now buy 33" leg rather then 31" leg.

Yes, lots of people. Enough that it's become an internet 'shorthand' (if a word can be shorthand when it's the same length).

Hence the commonly used phrase when pictures of kittens etc are posted "aw! teh cute!"
