Post mount mechanical disc calipers.

Recommendations please for a pair of good performing calipers. I was going to use the TRP Spyres but they're now nearly a hundred quid and I can't justify it for my now getting on Specialized AWOL gravel bike.
Recommendations too for dry / loose surface tyres for same, around 40c X 700.

AVid BB& is best of mechanical disks imo - I have them on my recumbent trike

If you aren't also using the brake levers for shifting gears, BB7 Mtn with V-brake levers works better than BB7 Road.
