post ride toilet rush!!!

quite often after a ride i have to visit the 'loo for a pooh' straight after a ride. i dont have any feelings during the ride but upon stopping im moving faster than mark cavendish! anyone else have this problem or an answer to what is causing this?

I think ive read before that runners often suffer from this, it's attributed to loss of blood flow to the intestine, thus bringing on a sudden need to pooh...summat like that.

I've never had the pooh desire but nearly every time I go out I get the pee desire

You'll burn the carbs more, so the stuff gets processed through the body faster than if you are "sedate".

Probably just movement around the lower bowel causing things to move along. Walking does it to me.

I tend to need to go just before I set off, and usually when I'm all 'bibbed up'

Regular as a very smelly and unpleasant clock. I also eat a lot of hot foods and sauces, oh and I love dried dates...

Pooh is a bear with a penchant for honey...a poo on the other hand is what I always need the night before a ride!

I'm not the only one then!! Stopped off at my parents today after 40 miles and had to surpress the urge, but after getting home after 52 it was the same routine
