Name a nationally distributed product that is not reliant upon fossil fuel for its distribution then I might see the joke otherwise The Guardian is no different from any other organisation.

They're not campaigning against fossil fuels. They're campaigning against continuing to rely on them into the future in the way we are now, on the grounds that proven reserves, extracted and used, are enough to asphyxiate the planet, eradicating all life, three times over. Seems fair enough to me.
