The time has come for me to sell off all my vinyl.

Most of it I will list on Discogs or eBay or maybe some with John Manship.

Anybody have experience when posting abroad with regards to taxation etc.

For example this record

https://www.discogs.com/release/6029307-Roscoe-Thomas-American-Girl

Recently sold for £500. If I sold it UK only obviously no problems but to open up a bigger market then I suppose you go for worldwide.

Anyone have insight into export taxation, can you get postal insurance etc.

Anybody who does similar with any tips?

Cheers

Looks like RM might only cover parcels up to £250, probably need to look at UPS, FedEx, DHL etc

Don’t you mean import tax? It’s the importer who pays the relevant taxes / duty for their country. You hsve something like, winning bid plus shipping via UPS etc. Bidder will pay any relevant import duties.

Thanks, I was under the impression, probably incorrectly, that since we left the EU we had to declare goods over a certain amount going out as well. I will do a bit more research.

This might be what I need to read.

I used to buy lots of bike related gear from the UK before brexit. I do not do that anymore because it has become far too expensive to have it sent to Denmark. I source all my things from Germany now.
