I hit a really bad pot hole today at about 20mph which has put my front wheel out of true by about 3mm I'd say. I couldn't see it in advance because of the traffic in front. I know it wasn't out of true earlier today as I fitted new brakes recently and I've got into a habit of checking the clearance regularly and looking at the gap to ensure they're OK.
It isn't touching the brake, would it be safe to continue riding with, or is it going to get worse? The wheel only has 18 spokes (of which none feel less tense than the other by hand).
I'll take a picture of the pot hole later and report it (it's a busy shopping street so no chance of getting a picture safely now), but I doubt they'll do much, it probably won't affect a car the way it would a cycle: it's deep, but fairly small width.
