Ive had this one for many years. Its easy to hold and works well.
Ive tried various other types and imo they are not as good.

Edit.
I have just found a Tefal one that looks the same......not cheap but worth it to me.

I have one I bought off Amazon a couple of years ago, although the other one that I still use is 40-50 years old.

Mine is at least 35 years old.
I'm wondering if it can be sharpened as that's the only thing wrong with it.
The reason I don't use the new one is that it's too sharp, I'd sever the tips of my fingers with it. The old one is still plenty sharp enough to peel the veg, but worn enough to prevent accidents turning into a drama. There were two peelers in the drawer when my father died 38 years ago, I've worn out one of them and the other's still going. I don't recall when I switched, or how old they already were in 1988.

Ive just googled how to sharpen them. There are several YouTube ideas. Ive just tried one and it seems to have worked though ive not physically tried it yet.

I much prefer this design. I find them far easier to use.

Tried one but couldn't get on with it.

I have one similar with some kind of grater at the end. It must be over 40 years old and still sharp. Although it peels in both directions I find it easier just to peel away from me. I have tried different types but this simple one is by far the best. I suppose it says the make on it somewhere. I`ll bet one thing, it was made in GB.

Just checked. Needed a magnifying glass but sadly it says 'made in China'.
